Sometimes i cant help but to marvel at the efforts of our government. The only plants that grow naturally from the ground are weeds and fungus but yet we are livin in a city in full bloom all year round. Raintrees or Angsana trees growin neatly along the roads, and durin the IMF period, bougainvillea that wasnt there before blossom over night. Uniquely Singapore.

What ya see is only the facade...beautiful it may be...the maintenances and growth of it comes frm our taxes...so perhaps that explains why our GST increase...hahah! With the increase of tax $, maybe they will have more exotic flowers like bougainvillea~

Haha not just an increase in GST, its a comprehensive offset package that strengthen the social safety net and in flavour of the lower income and elderly and blah blah blah. Like we didnt just have a new casino but a new integrated resort. We shall see soon in this year's budget speech next wk.
