Happy thaipusum! didn know it was thaipusum until my bus pass by parkmall.. there was these half naked indians carryin tt spiky thingy with flower on top n thick needles stickin right into the skin.. they were marchin frm somewhere tt seems too far to parkmall.. it seems to hurt.. nv understand y doesn it hurts them.. juz imagine havin tt weight on ya.. n the only support is needles tt stick into ya epidermis.. perhaps like lyin on a bed of nails.. got more needle means more support.. but arghhh still v pain la.. or how can they run on hot charcoal barefooted?? i think it hurts even to run on charcoal which is not hot.. either they got really thick soles or tts y they RUN...

n tt bottle of peppermint crystals tt i bought.. it smells really nice but not excatly the function of what tt lady say.. she say it will perk one up upon smellin it.. esp useful in class when one is feelin slpy.. but it doesn work at all.. but when ya sniff real hard or open ya mouth to talk while smellin tt.. the tiny pieces of the crystal will go into ya mouth.. not much taste but got tt peppermint taste lo.. i still dun understand how did the peppermint crystals can smell tt nice but peppermint tea smells like herbal remedy.. so far i've been smellin tt bottle of crystals everyday.. well.. more like sniffin.. lucky i didn bought glue.... at least it doesn have any hallucination effects but its really tt addictive... but come to think bout it.. is this crystals considered organic solvents.. lydat sniffin it might be causin harm to the cells in my lungs lehz.. nvm got my marcophages.. wahahhaahaa they wu di one!

4. Stay vigilant - for terrorist attacks.. tsunamis.. cylones.. earthquakes.. esp tsunami.. pls.. juz miss my flat... dun come by the east coast of spore..


5. Do not overeat - overeat as i always do and feel miserable after tt.. den i hafta puke.. i dun want to get bulima...

Its the wkends again! FINALLY.. had a really long wk.. goin to sch everyday den goin to work.. really workin my ass off.. now i got the entire wkend to compensate for tt.. =D


Thursday.. well actually is wed tt i was feelin so excited.. tot benchwork for fyp is gonna end n left with thurs to finish it off.. i was even secretly tellin myself tt im gonna miss everythin bout the lab.. the ppl.. the moneyplant tt i always spray with RO water.. the P1000 pipette tt is my most deadly weapon.. the pcr machine tt i always wanna carry it with me if a fire broke out.. n even the stinko autoclave from japan... n the list juz go on n on n on..
but v sadly.. the laser failed us.. duh.. y have it be the last part.. the laser fail to detect anythin.. i can almost felt my heart breakin within me when no peak at 509nm show on the screen... sian.. sch reopen le still need to continue.. so much for the lookin forward....

hehe abit guilty also but i promise k.. if there is any survey or competition for the best xmas deco i will definately go vote for tangs k.. i promise ;) its the most beautiful tree ever.. even better than the nake angels of paragon sittin on their huge heavy balls.. but xmas is a season to be jolly.. tralalalala lalalala.. haha its a festive of joy n laughter which shld spread the warmth to all in the world n everything shld be shared regardless of anythin.. hehe n this shld apply on the crystals as well.... ;)

YEA!!! Went to the Toy R'us at Jurong pt today n saw Sea monkey.. didn see it for quite sometime.. still remember sec sch time when its sold over the counters at 7-11s.. its not some kinda monkey tt can live underwater but Sea Monkey is actually a hybrid.. some kinda brine shrimp tt is too small for consumption n its abit hairy.. eee.. anyway its really kinda amazin la.. the Seamonkeys can remain viable in their eggs for quite a few yrs n puttin dem into ultrapure water (a packet of crystals tt they claim can clean up the impurities) can make them hatch... smth like germplasm storage in higher plants lydat.. but its known as cryptobiosis.. Aeration is required but doesn need build in sparger in the tank but juz pump a few times with a pasteur pipette can le.. requires feedin once a wk... but didn mention anythin bout changin the water thou.. later get a full think of larvae...


But quite sad case.. its a life lehz.. not juz A life... is ALOT of life in a packet of eggs.. some ppl treasure it as a pet but other juz throw dem away after a couple of months? yet its sold in toy r'us... the scientist treat dem as toys only lo.. n it couldn survive outside the formula so tt they wun get out to the open environment.. quite kelian also.. but they are truly some amazin creature.. healthy adult seamonkeys have a green, brown or black streak runnin down their backs while dead ones have a deadly shade of pink n become black eventually.. the auntie sellin the v nice chilli fishball at chinatown bluff me de... i say i wanted fishballs!! balls are suppose to be round.. n wad did she gave me? its fish cake cut into pieces.. its tt long kinda fishcake n its cut into short cylindrical shape.. n i dunno how she did it but she manage to pierce into the cylindrical pieces in this angle tt it kinda look round.. somehow.. n to make it more convincin she even cover it with such a thick canopy of chilli to conceal the truth.. but silly me.. unexpectedly bought it n still kinda happy tt my fishballs is covered with tt silly amt of chilli.. but now i know.. theres no free lunch in this world... didn anticipate anythin till i took out the 1st piece..

Nth interestin bout halloween.. no jack-o-lantern.. no treat n trick... no nth.. but i have always like jack o lanterns.. i think pumpkins deserve to be hallow out n have a demonic face craved on it... but actually the custom originated in the British Isles, with a large turnip or other vegetable rather than a pumpkin... the original meaning of the word jack-o'-lantern was night watchman or man with a lantern.. but anyway pumpkins completely disgust me since childhood.. yes i know its soOoOOOOooo HIGHLY nutritious as it seems but didn they realise kids dun care? anyway i will always rem parents tryin to feed me with this unidentified golden sludge-like substance with a weird stench.. ok it wasn tt bad.. but i juz coulden bring myself to swallow it... yucks.. i can only drink water with it to swallow it whole coz i didn want to sink my teeth into tt golden mess n left traces of it between my teeth.. n with water.. the thick viscious pumpkin become diluted n the taste juz filled my mouth n its still as hard to swallow as before... n this time even with the urge to puke.. darn.. i cant nv 4get the bad memories of meals with pumpkin as one of the dish.. see.. pumpkins are now happily been hallow out n craved with their evil expression *evil laughter bhind* n been smash till it look worst den pumpkin shit... wahahhahaaa by doin this.. everyone can help to keep parents from pumpkins evil propaganda n prevent innocent kids to suffer from all the torments..

n after 2yrs of study in sp.. i finally realise something really good bout the sch facilites other than the lifts.. although the lifts not tt gd too.. the sch somehow built all the lifts on the not so high buildins.. n the tallest one in cls (T1A dun count la) T4A doesn have a lift.. i dread havin lessons there.. the flight of stairs always seems endless.. n yea.. the sch lib rents DVDs.. hahaa its exams time n studyin in the lib alfresco area or wad they call the courtyard... i notice something so much more apealing than books.. haha the DVDs! watch spirited away.. i think i've watch tt b4.. somehow i seems to know the story.. but well its bout a gal stumbles upon a mystical world of hantus n witchcraft.. her parents gluttony results in them turnin into pigs.. n it comes with a BONUS dvd.. hahaa was quite excited after tt to see wad bonus do they have.. but it actually have the entire n mind ya.. its excatly the SAME cartoon in sketches.. wow.. what can i say? aint gonna watch it over again in sketches..

day 2 - still mournin over my lost lanyard


it was the longest nite ever.. the earsplittin thunderbolt n the lightnin tt slash across the window.. didn know how long it lasted.. only remember feelin so very relieved once its over.. n did i mention tt the scene where the art tcher kill the principal by sittin on him n stabbin repeatedly is also on a nite like this.. indoors.. sheltered from the downpour n only in the dim n occasional flash of thunder tt ya can see clearly.. n this is when my imagination takes over...
i can practically see the art tcher all bloody in my room starin out of the window.. leavin a bloody mess bhind too.. i know its not true but at tt point of time.. and with the deafenin thunder everythin seems so real.. hahaa n poor me.. totally imobilized on my bed in fear.. hahaa was so tired in the mornin n decided not to go OC.. better stay home n gieve over my student pass ba.. but i will never get to slp past noon.. woke up at 11+ coz wendy shu call.. was so glad tt i tot maybe the efficient SMRT found my lanyard... nahh SMRT is not tt efficient.. think i'll go down to look for it instead of waitin like 10yrs b4 they finally read my email... =(

I LOST MY LANYARD.. got my admin card n student pass n lib card.. wad make it worst is i juz bought bus concession.. 1st is my wallet which i found it sometime later.. now my lanyard.. now i believe tt its juz a calm sea b4 the upcomin storm.. exams comin somemore... sianz.. today went to watch ouija board.. realise all koreans look alike.. got tt v typical boa face.. either got realli big eyes tt will drop out of the socket the moment ya slap the person on the back or really small eyes tt ya be wonderin if the person is walkin ard with their eyes close.. n in the show the koreans got really BIG goldfish eyes.. n the other one got glaucoma.. quite sad case aso la.. the mother really love her blind daughter so much.. only the start of the show kinda scary.. where they summon the spirit to curse her classmate.. n btw there is no board at all.. they simply hold a pencil n scribble on a notepad..... n all the ppl in the show dress like kang when shes wearin formal for OC.. hehe kinda scary when i see her pic juz now.. but the rest of the show more suspenseful den scary but the scene can be somewhat be anticipated la.. den the end kinda bloodly tt all.. but the image of the gal gonna haunt me for dunno countless nites b4 i eventually forgets...

n btw bus 36 is filled with all sorts of weird ppl... there are friendly angmos from the airport.. thai young gals in BIGBIG groups.. indonesians.. n all the not so reasonable nor considerate indians.. they will juz force they way into the bus as if the bus will move away without dem n stand where ever they like which is usually in the middle of the bus.. n their size will somehow prevent the rest from gettin to the back of the bus.. the front will be so very crowded n the back will be empty.. once i saw an auntie scold this indian.. n he juz ask if theres a prob n continue standin there.. dunno wads with all of them.. they are all in suits n workin somewhere ard town n ya cant defend them by sayin they are juz being unrefine uncultivated or ignorant.. they are totally NOT.. they are simply unconsiderate ppl....
n today quite a sight on the bus.. theres this lady who dress like a queen.. yes a queen.. not a princess.. shes wearin this sliverish slippers with piceces of diamonds on it but i think its fake la.. den she got all her toe nails painted gold n this long flowery dress tt tones from red to black with the main color is maroon.. it also has tt pieces of glitterin thingys on it.. those tt always worn durin seven mth ge tai.. shes aso kinda plump.. holdin a golden handbag tt look as if there is precious gems in it.. n so ironically.. right beside her stands a man in a white robe.. those typical arab man tt will lead his camel across the sahara desert in search of a souce of water.. n hes even holdin a parcel.. i mean a box tied by raffia strings.. the contrast is damn big.. haha n the auntie who so nicely move in to share the seat with me.. shes sittin with her legs so far apart tt i hafta sit only with half of my butt.. got no idea wad she did or wad is she doin.. airing her vagina perhaps.. hahaa wad a queer lot tt im sharin a bus with...

Guess wad i found on the ingredient list of my shampoo n conditioner... arghhh Pantene for normal hair contain disodium EDTA.. its juz doesn sounds right.. EDTA chelatin agent.. the conditioner got EDTA also.. what will happen if the EDTA starts to chelate all the calcium from the cell walls of my head n all the cells will lyse.. oh no... n my dove conditioner.. it contains urea.. eee so gross.. juz imagine urinatin all over ya hair.. n massage gently leavin it on to penetrate... yucks... lucky i dun use it too often.. n the only "alright" thing i can use is my dettol shower foam.. nth toxic bout the ingredients or at least i dunno how toxic they are.. oh im gettin paranoid againz..

watch the dvd tt i borrowed from the sch lib ytd nite.. the way home.. some korean movie tt is so very touchin.. it tells a story bout a lil boy who is used to the urban lifestyle of seoul but is force to stay with his old n mute grandmother who lives in the rural countryside.. she gave in to all the wants of sang woo no matter wad.. even when he was so mean to her.. n finally all her action touch sang woo n slowly he started to be nicer to her.. but his granny so kelian.. so old le still live on a hill.. hafta climb up slowly everyday.. n when his grandson threw away her shoes on purpose she climb up the rocky sandy slope barefooted.. it is only when his granny fell sick one day tt he suddenly realizes how much her unflinching affection has meant to him all the while.. the show really portray the remarkable strength of grandparents' intrepid and unwavering love for their grandchildrens.. its specially dedicated to all grandparents.. n when sang woo return to seoul hes a different boy who now know the importance of family and had learn to embrace humility and empathy..

so amusin.. still rem last yr im sellin gelare icecream mooncakes at ps in some kinda mooncake festival fair.. it juz a small lil red booth tt i decorated with those paper lanterns hangin all ard.. that was one of the ugliest booth ard i guess..


i was also sellin the icecream cakes n the 500mL pints.. none of the cakes were sold n i think onli the uncle beside who find me kinda poortin cant sell any n decide to buy a single pint from me.. haha so pathetic.. right now im workin there still but in a new store.. the stores still sellin the same mooncakes in the same ugly golden box.. same favors also.. hahaa kinda miss tt lil ugly red booth...



n i bought this cute lil red pucca lantern from the booth beside mine last yr.. really proud of it.. its the only lantern that manage to survive after a mooncake festival.. and its still ard right now n still got batt nia.. =D manage to dig it out from all my stuffs.. gonna bring it ard tml.. although it doesn have those music but nvm i can sing along with the red light.. actually it looks kinda ghostly even when it got pucca printed on it.. hahaaa nth much la.. juz suddenly tot of last yr when i went ps today.. how similar all the new booths are even when they are situated outside this yr.. juz bring back all the memories.. esp the chestnut n black sesame icecream tt sucks big time ;)

Wahhhh theres this auntie livin under my blk!!! saw her once tryin to force her hand into the paper recycle bin and ever since i've been tryin to figure out what can be so valuable in it.. n the bin is design in such a way tt it have a preventive mechanism tt make sure aunties cant juz stick they hand in n take smth from it.. haha kinda funny to see her tryin her best with tt i-can-feel-smth look on her face but always end up with nth.. nth at all.. hahaa
