I have to say - i love this week even more than last week, or the week before.

Hehe could hardly hide my anticipation. In less than 24hrs. Simply enjoy this feelin of excitement knowin tomorrow wont be just another day. The feelin of anxiousness. The feelin of knowin i cant finish packin my bag till late at night and STILL forget something important and feelin slpy the next day despite everything else. Just feelin glad that i can say goodbye to the hot languorous afternoons and the humdrum repetition of familar routines and everything else just for the moment. It always feel better to be a tourist, to be in an foreign land, even if it means to buy ubiquitous souvenirs like silly t-shirts or keychains with bold floral prints. To walk around not knowing whether its the right way and refusing to take out a map, maintainin my cool tryin to act like a local. How ironical. And of course to "smuggle" gums back even when theres no need to smuggle anymore. What a typical sporean i have turn out to be. Hah This is goin to be fun. ;]

And just a random thought that man is unique and conformity among all is hardly possible, the stereotyped could be preferential but not exclusive. It may not be the only path that leads to your desire, the longer path may allow deeper insights and perceiving in a more intuitive manner. Concuring may not be the only way and dissenting may not be a mistake.

My body's internal clock is damn screwed. My suprachiasmatic nucleus in the hypothalamus must be really confuse this time round. I cant fall asleep in the night time and i cant wake up on time in the day time. Tried goin to bed earlier than usual but i would end up lyin there for a couple of hours listenin to my mp3s. Complete waste of time yeah, i might as well keep myself occupied till i get really tired before hittin the sack so that i would be out within minutes right. Or maybe a even simpler solution of moving somewhere which will make up the appropriate time difference of 4 hours, how bout iraq or afghanistan. Maybe its my body's natural inclination to be an nightowl and i enjoy the way it is too, the peace of the night and simply tunin out the world on my way to work. Duh just for the sake of next week. I shall try to get it turned around within a week and have it back in sync with time. ;] Soon.

I had always love to try new drinks, even weird drinks. But lately, the newer product seems to taste weirder than ever. I wonder where can i get a can of Heaven and earth, Imperial orchard tea. The one in a purple can and taste abit like slightly sweeten, chilled, chinese tea. Couldn find those anywhere but now they have this new revitalising white tea that taste completely artificial and would be more appropriate in a bottle of perfume than in a can of drink. Like the one before with added catechin, polyphenol which is suppose to heal dunno what shit but taste really horrible. Catechin somehow reminds me of colchicine and i can vaguely remember it does no good and causes polypoidy. Just imagine after drinking your cells stop division because it is unable to undergo mitosis. How scary. And being a polyphenol and an alkaloid doesn make much difference to me either. I will never have another can of that.

And drinks nowadays are getting really high tech, we soon can have a can of hot latte that is based on a simple science reaction. Pressing a button at the bottom of the container would allow water to flow into calcium oxide causing an exodermic reaction and thus heating up the latte. But 2.24USD a bottle? That is going to $4SGD i guess for the one use self-heating container. Interesting, from Wolfgang puck.
Did something totally dumb but ridiculously amusing. Was home late on friday night after working and im workin again the following day in the afternoon. Having only one uniform and a pair of black pants, i decided to wash them so that i can wear them again the next day. I was afraid it couldn dry on time so i hang them right outside my bedroom window, when the most terrible thing happened. I was tryin to fit my shirt onto the hanger and i suddenly saw an empty hanger outside my window. OH! My pants! Yup it fell. I stick my head out of the window thinkin what can be worst than droppin the pants that i need the next day at 3am in the morning. Now i know. It is having the pants stuck on someone else window. Didn want to wait till the next morning, i suddenly have this brillant idea of throwin other items down so that my pants will land on the ground floor. Being a considerate neighbour, not wanting to break any windows or disturb my neighbours i decided to throw some unwanted clothings down. I realise a t-shirt is not heavy enough, so i wetted a singlet and threw it down. MISS again but it make this really loud sound. PloP PloP PloP Plop PLAATT. Hahahaaa i couldn help it but bursted out laughing. Someone downstairs must think this is a plank, not knowing it is of an noble cause. So this went on, t-shirts, singlets, shorts, all wetted, went down one by one. MISS again and again. Haiz i threw a final pair of jeans down but still my black pants remain stuck there. I gave up, wrote a note to my neighbour and stuck it into their unit and went downstairs to get those that successfully reach the ground floor. Yup not all are sucessful. In the end i have got a t-shirt and that pair of jeans stuck on someone else aircon but i only brought a piece of paper down so i didn write a note or something to get them back. But luckily i got my pants back the next morning. Hehe good neighbours.

*If anyone livin in marine crescent and happens to find a t-shirt and a pair of jeans on the aircon outside their masterbed room and so happens to read this or something can just leave it outside my doorstep. Sorry for the inconvience caused. Thanks.
Your dearest neighbour,

Companies nowadays are really efficient but of course lah we are highly ranked in those research on labour force evaluations mahz. (Although we drop a spot to 3rd in competitive ranking overtaken by HongKong) Foreign companies can always trust spore companies like what PM lee said on that talk show, no matter what there is always the spore government there to apprendend those companies involved in fraudulence practices.

Approach in recruiting is also especially creative. Some calling you up early in the morning the following workin day after recieving your mail and some replying with an email and other sending to you an sms EARLY in the morning to ask you to check your mail and response when they have not even send the email out. How interestin, companies are getting more and more high tech. Waking me up early with an sms saying "Regarding the job they have recieve my resume and i am to check my email and response. thx." Short and sweet. Man i was still impress until i check my mailbox. There was no email. Damn company wake me up early on such a beautiful mornin and make me all gungho about the job that i have completely no recollection of and switching on my com and all but THERE IS NO EMAIL?

Most companies never reply then the SIBEICHUIweather associate gave me an url and i got no idea how to send my CV over. Had thought that would be an easy job to forecast the weather, summer in spore is always the same mahz and there is only summer in spore. Always hot, humid and scattered showers at parts of the island lo but cannot lah this job sniffing out the weather makes me feel like a dog. Then some company mailbox was full and my resume bounce back and now i got an sms but no email. Im no longer excited bout joinin this efficient spore workforce. duh.

Changi ferry terminal. A complete new look. Use to be a couple of benches outdoors, people simply sitting around. Hmmmm now this look more like an arrival/departure hall with that machine that scans your lugguage. Shall go pengerang someday, $7 for the bumboat ride there. Never notice that was available before, always thought the bumboats are small and there isnt enough fuel to go anywhere other than pulau ubin.

Pulau ubin. This is a very typical picture of it that appears on textbooks and anywhere else trying to attract tourists to it.

A wooden toilet make of planks, same concept as the makeshift type but very much less sophicated. With a drophole in middle with anythin going straight into the lake. Extreme pollution but yet that area is full of fishes. Fishes like shit and attracted to it. And did i heard someone say he would like some Riesling to go with his fish and chips??

But the toilet we use are the comtemporary sort, nothing similar to the one before.

The locked gates

There gates are locked for a reason, the nparks would not just close down part of the nature reserve without a reason. Do not venture further. Even without big signboards marked with bold red wordings like Danger, BAHAYA or something along that line, the locked gates said enough. But being reluctant to go back to the way we came (meaning to climb the slopes again) and plus our curiosity, we went ahead. There were wild boars! I always thought they were only present in places like the information kiosk with they pictures printed in color and stuck on the wall with a description of their habitat. Hmmm at least the wild boars didn seem to have any personal vendetta towards cyclists. Still its quite a nice place with thick canopy overhead and after the rain the place seems to be foggy or misty, should be scary at night. Hmmm

The haze is back again, now polluting the air with PM10. Seriously, any weather station wanna hire me? I have an extremely sensitive feel for the weather especially with my nose and throat. Always coughing non-stop whenever the PSI increases and sneezing continuously before rainfall. By hiring me, the weather station could save on all the not really accurate, i mean sophicated equipments and manpower workin on them. Interested companies can send me an email and i will kindly send my resume over asap. Thanks.

Tired. Pictures tomorrow.

I feel like im in this virtual salle d'attente. In less than 8 hours the results will be out. Obviously its more anticipated than the UK election but of course not without a hint of emotional perplexity. Waiting.
